FREE Storytime and Craft Sessions @ stork's corner.

Please note we are taking a little break over Winter 2011 from our Storytime Sessions! From the 1st June, our sessions will no longer be running....

We currently have 2 Artclasses running each week - if you would like more details about these classes, or other instore events, please call us on 08 6161 9123.

Each session is structured around one particular theme (eg Pirate, Beach, Farm etc). The session includes 2 or 3 story books, mixed in with songs and music, followed by a craft activity.

All children are welcome to attend, although the sessions are best suited for 2 to 5 years.

The event is held on our upstairs mezzanine level. No bookings are required however, please note we have a session limit of 20 participants per workshop, which is based on a first come first serve basis.

This event is FREE.

Baby change/toilet facilities are available for your convenience.

Please note this event is not held on Public Holidays when our store is closed!

Below is our "Storytime Etiquette List" to ensure your visit is an enjoyable one:

1.  Please do not bring food into the sessions. We need to be mindful of children with allergies;

2.  It can take time for your child to adjust to the new environment. Don't be disheartened if they don't love it on the first go! But repeat visits provide familiarity and most children soon settle into the sessions with ease;

3.  We have a play area downstairs for all to use. If you find your little one is getting distracted, feel free to leave the session and have a play downstairs. You are always welcome to rejoin the session.

4.  And lastly, we are all there to have fun and we are forever mindful that it doesn't become a 'classroom'! However, we would appreciate if you could help us by encouraging you child/ren to sit on the mat, listen and not distract others.
